About

The Community Character Coalition (CCC) of Elk Grove is a not-for-profit community-based organization that was formed in September 2003. Our vision is to create a model community where the quality of life is supported by core ethical values translated into good character practices, which are taught, promoted and recognized throughout the Elk Grove community. Our efforts are based on the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, fairness and citizenship.

Since it’s inception, CCC has continuously partnered with community groups to provide support, resources, activities and leadership to spread the practice of good character values in our schools, government (local and township), police and fire departments, park district, library, and many community organizations, agencies and businesses.
